Tripsville, Tennessee

Tripsville, Tennessee is a teaming up of Deep N Beeper AKA Nick Knatchbull and Zac Z to bring you the musical vibes and an electric humming of rhymes and rhythm. Its an electronic album mixed with acoustic instruments of all sorts and vocals. There are euphoric highs and calm stillness etched out within the soundscapes of trickling waters within the sea of this record, well worth a listen.

ZAC - “We meet each other a few years ago and got on in a musical way a lot together a long with a lot of similarities, tastes and difference so it made sense to work together and bring something new out. Nick is great behind the computer and took to producing the record while I would through at him ideas and a few extra sounds, the albums turned out great, check it out!”

NICK - “Zac is a very talented acoustic musician and I am basically a purely electronic artist (although I've worked with instrumentalists before). Its always nice to have that natural vibe and flowing creative sound that comes from real instruments amongst the electronic witchcraft and futurist synths. I heard some of Zacs loops and we decided to do an EP together which turned into a mini-album! I really enjoyed working on this and feel its some of our most original work to date. Zac shone in the guitar, vocals and various other instruments department (he has the biggest collection of weird and wonderful instruments i have ever seen!) but was there whilst I was engineering too, helping with the creative production process. The funniest thing was the naming of the project. We had just setup the mic to record Zac and I was testing it and suddenly (God only knows why!) the opening track intro bit and eventual name of the album "Tripsville, Tenessee" popped into my brain and out of my mouth! It fits the general vibe of the music perfectly and stuck!"

liquid pepper

Liquid Pepper (2012) places a greater emphasis on production values, moving away from guitar towards pure sound and electronica. Vocals, piano, drums and turntable scratching provide a listening experience that is both chilled-out and heavy at the same time. The music covers the musical spectrum. The title track begins with what sounds like bees swarming over drumming, as if the union were perfectly natural Gaia offers piccolo and piano to rhythm, soft and hard sounds ricocheting off each other to give the track its feel, a prayer to mother natures gift of life. hop your soul a calling for love, the album creates a unique sonar soundscape. one he hopes people can enjoy and get something from.

"I released my second LP, around the same time of the first in 2010, it was a lot of work and a very different album! Its got an electronic vibe, it took me a while trying to understand how to use the DAW with a keyboard, electric drums, and a turntable. I tried to use other instruments and less guitar then my first album. It was a big step into production. I kept going back and reworking the album and getting the booklets done took some doing!"

Imperfections

Imperfections is an acoustic-based introspective meditation on beginnings. Largely rooted in voice and guitar, the double album reflects a young man growing. The album presents a self-taught musician experimenting in loose, freestyle musical form. Single-layered sound recorded over several years, these songs are “imperfections†randomly etched out of thin air filled with accidental inventions and moments meandering through sound, picking berries along the way.

"My first album was a double LP, I recorded it over a long while. It was a big step for me, I originally released it near my birthday in 2010 most of it is based on acoustic guitar and singing, while a couple of tracks were added after its initial release. Getting the booklets together was a real challenge! Its got bits I'm proud of!"

Available as a digital download: the 18 track double album, along with a 24-page PDF booklet and cover art, is available to download immediately from:
